Varsity Girls Get First Win

The Greenwood Christian Varsity Girls got their first win of the season Friday night on the road at King Academy. The Lady Hawks, who won 29-25,  were led by Joie Young with 12 points. The Lady Hawks travel to Due West Monday to take on the Dixie Hornets at 6:15pm.

Varsity Boys Lose Home Opener

The Greenwood Christian Varsity Boys Basketball team lost their home opener against Newberry Academy 59-53 Friday night. Leading the way for the Hawks were Aidan Waters with 16 points while Caleb Hinzman and Ben Pettit added 11 points each. The Hawks take on Calhoun Falls at home Monday, December 8 at 7:30pm.

Middle School Boys make it 2-0

The Middle School Boys Hawks basketball team started the season 2-0 with a 57-18 win over Cambridge Academy Tuesday. Colten Johns led the Hawks with 11 points. The Greenwood Christian School Middle School Boys Basketball team won their season opener 27-24 over Newberry Academy. The Hawks were led by Alex Minor scoring 12 points with Colten Johns adding 5. The Middle School Boys take their 1-0 record to Cambridge Academy Tuesday, December 2 at 5:00pm.
