Hawks wins contest against Spartanburg Day, 7-4
Hawks got things moving in the first inning, when Ethan Conner singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Christian Crocker pitched Hawks to victory. The righty lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out six. Jaxon Carter and Conner entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Timmy Willis took the loss for Spartanburg Day. The hurler allowed six hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out two.
Conner went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hawks in hits.
